Club history from Tony Fountain - "Formed after 3 blokes (ie Tony Fountain,Don Clarke and Dan Creevey) had a boozy night at the The Club Hotel back in 1987,reckoned there should have been a rugby club....and found out next morning that we did have (albeit with 3 players- us!) when I told them that we now had a club - the jumpers,shorts and socks were ordered and I needed their 2/3 contribution!!"
